Hey There!
My name is Oliver, a proficient programmer of sorts. I am a problem solver at heart and love writing scaleable systems and tools through clean and efficient code. I have heaps of experience writing gameplay code and am currently dipping my toes into engine development and computer graphics. Learning something new with every implementation is something I greatly enjoy and feel is a necessary part of making something great.I'm quite comfortable in C/C++ and C# and have varied expertise between Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot. Feel free to take a look at some of my projects below and don't hesitate to reach out to me for any reason at all!
Currently studying Game Programming at Future Games Umeå.

Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot
Git, Perforce

Recyclacy is an arcade-inspired game where you roll around as a sticky ball of gum, collecting trash to clean up the city along the way. The goal is to accrue as high of a score as possible during the limited time per-run.This was my first game project at Future Games and an introduction to working collaboratively in the game dev space.

Ghost Bureau of Investigation is a 2 player online co-op puzzle game where you need to cooperate to solve puzzles and solve the mystery of the missing personell.
Each player has unique abilites, both of which are required to proceed through the game. This project was my first dive into netcode and taught me the ins and outs of how to smoothly operate a game between multiple clients.

This project was an assignment in the Computer Technology course at Future Games. We were given a somewhat broken "dots engine" and were told to fix it, alongside making sure that the engine can handle upwards of 15 000 dots at once. Through many iterations and many hours of profiling, my version has exceeded 200 000 dots through the use of oct trees, multi threading, mesh instancing and generally optimized code.
